Luol Deng is in his sixth year in the league and seems to have established that he has a deceptively-effective ability to penetrate, a very good mid-range jumper, and arms that go on forever that make him a very good rebounder. He is returning after a year marred by injuries and has the chance to become a superb second option this season. Deng is safely employed for five years so the hope is that he will become that second option and not a very expensive third or fourth option.
