32 Larry Hughes SG 6-5 184 Jan 23, 1979 College: Saint Louis
Larry Hughes was one of the players to come over in the Wallace white flag trade in the middle of the season last year.
Being thrown into a glut of shooting guards, Hughes struggled to find his touch (38.7 percent for the field, 35.3 percent
from three, and 77.5 percent from the line). The Chicago Bulls were not sure what to do with his athleticism and love to
drive and his 12 points a game over the 28 games often came after some disruption on the offensive end.
The season ahead looks no better for a guard not known for his defense (which has improved over his career). The player
will probably not come close to his 14.9 ppg career average, but his athleticism could come in helpful if the Chicago
Bulls start running more with Rose on the floor.
