The Bank of America Theatre tickets are great tickets for the Broadway In Chicago productions that have drawn millions of theater lovers back to the Loop. Though the theater has crept back into the headlines in recent years, it actually opened in 1906 as the Majestic Theatre at 18 West Monroe Street.

Unfortunately, the Depression forced the cultural hub to close. It opened again in 1945 as the Sam Shubert Theatre after the Shubert Organization purchased the building. In 1991 the Nederlander Organization took over and rechristened the theatre the LaSalle Bank Theatre after restoration efforts in 2005. Now the theater is the Bank of America Theatre.

Whatever the name of the building, the facility was designed to appeal to a high class crowd by architects Edmund R. Krause and the Rapp Brothers. The 2005 restoration aimed to restore that elegance that once epitomized the Bank of American Theatre.

Over the last few years Chicago’s Bank of America Theatre has had views throughout the seating chart to watch such productions as Monty Pythin’s Spamalot during the pre-Broadway tour and the current open run of the Jersey Boys.
