5 Andres Nocioni SF 6'7" - 225lbs, Nov 30, 1979 College: None
Andres Nocioni may not have played college ball, but the Argentinean has an impressive resume with Argentinean national team, winning the gold
medal in 2004, and with TAU Ceramica in the Spanish league, where he won the 2004 league MVP. With the Chicago Bulls he has provided the
toughness and underestimated athleticism to play either forward position. Last season Nocioni averaged 13.2 points and only 4.2 rebounds
in a season in which everyone’s stats suffered. His step back was not much, but his play was definitively a disappointment
compared to his ‘06-’07 season.
The Chicago Bulls are looking to Nocioni to make good on the five-year, $38 million deal he signed in 2007. His three point shooting and
fierceness in all aspects of the game can be an incredible advantage, especially at the power forward position. His averages have
remained rather steady since he adapted to the league, so look for a season between 13 and 14 points a game with a three point
percentage in the high 30s.
