Out near the intersection of Mannheim Road and Interstate 90, outside of Chicago in the Village or Rosemont sits the Allstate Arena. The multi-purpose venue is home to sports, concerts, and just general entertainment.
Originally named the Rosemont Horizon, the facility was finished in 1980 at 6920 N. Mannheim Rd. It was immediately put to use as the home of the DePaul Blue Demons basketball teams. Since then the arena has played host to indoor soccer teams, arena football teams, pay-per-view wrestling events, and major performers on major tours.
Allstate Arena currently is the home to the Blue Demons, the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League, and is a continued favorite spot for the WWE. In fact, the arena holds the record for the most consecutive WWE events at 16. The venue is popular because Allstate Arena tickets are great no matter where on the seating chart those seats fall. The spacious facility has 18,500 seats for concerts, 17,500 seats for basketball games, and 16,000 seats for full contact sports like hockey and arena football.
