The Chicago Bulls are going to have a difficult first half to the 2012-2013 season. For the first 50 games they will definitely be without Derrick Rose, and the fans at the United Center may be forced to endure an entire season without the MVP, superstar, and best point guard in the NBA. Without him, the expectations for the coming season are going to be tapered. With him and his late arrival, fans expect the remaining roster to focus no defense (Coach Tom Thibodeau’s specialty) and set up a historic run in the postseason as a lower seed.
Noah is expected to average another double-double, competing for the rebounding title and perhaps the Defensive Player of the Year Award. Luol Deng is going to the focal point of the offense and the man charged with slowing down or shutting down players like LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony. Kirk Hinrich is expected to play the role of combo guard and the best perimeter defender. Players like Marco Belinelli and Nate Robinson have been added as additional scorers and second-year wing Jimmy Butler is expected to blossom as the Bulls need another spark plug for depth. The Chicago Bulls fans are coming into the season envisioning a good enough performance to hang around until Rose can return and take the team to the next level.

Although the Chicago Bulls are not as old of a franchise as the Boston Celtics or the Los Angeles Lakers, the franchise has had a proud history. After a few bad years following the team's inaugural season into the NBA in 1966, the Bulls managed to string together four straight years at number two in the Midwest Division in the beginning of the '70s and even took the division in the 1974-75 season, providing exciting Bulls tickets for the playoffs for six straight years.
